This is the second visit to this location in 4 weeks - this time to see April's wildflowers. Meet at the Pueblo Day Use Area, a small open valley in the center of Santa Teresa Park. There are also views of grasslands and tree-studded hills in all directions. If enough interest, we will do a moderate hike from the day use area at 10:15am. There is shade and picnic tables for those who wish to sit and paint. $6 per car day use fee. Directions: Take Highway 85 to the Bernal Road exit. Proceed west 1.3 miles on Bernal Road and cross Santa Teresa Boulevard toward the Santa Teresa Hills. Bernal Road continues past the park's Santa Teresa Golf Club, winding up into the hills. Follow the sign to the Pueblo Day Use area on the left.
Attendance: Attendance is free and is open to all non SCVWS members unless specified above.
