This POST (Peninsula Open Space Trust) protected trail has views of rolling hills and Mt. Umunhum. Hikers will leave from the parking lot and take a moderate 1.5 mile hike to lookouts along the North Ridge. It may be too early for most wildflowers but if our timing is right, the rolling hills will be blooming in yellow mustard. Exit at Almaden Expressway and turn right. Take Almaden Expressway down and go right on Henry Road. From Harry Road, go left onto McKean Road. Follow McKean Road and the parking lot for Rancho San Vicente will be on the right across from Fortini Road. Follow McKean Road and the parking lot for Rancho San Vicente will be on the right across from Rakstad Road.
