There is the famous natural bridge, rocks, shorebirds, and crashing waves. The park also includes a large area of coastal scrub and grasslands, and Moore Creek which flows through the park, forming freshwater wetlands and a salt marsh before it reaches the sea. We will eat our bag lunches at the picnic tables which overlook the ocean. Directions: Take Highway 17 to Santa Cruz and exit north on Highway 1, towards Half Moon Bay. Drive 1.1 miles on Hwy 1, take slight right turn onto CA-1/Mission St to stay on Hwy 1 and drive 1.6 miles. Turn left on Swift Avenue and drive 0.7 miles. Turn right on West Cliff Drive, Follow the winding road along the coast until it ends at Natural Bridges State Beach. There is a State Park fee of $10/$9 seniors for the parking lot.
