The Park Brochure has directions and trail information. We will meet in the shaded Orchard Glen picnic area located in the southeast corner of the scenic Las Trampas Valley. For non-hikers there are plenty of spectacular views near Orchard Glen Parking area including a field bordered by woodlands and a stream. Hikers will walk along the flat Wildhorse Valley Lane to the Fern Loop Trail. This is tick season so dress appropriately. Hikers leave at 10:15 AM. Washrooms: Orchard Glen Picnic Area, Interpretive Center, Oak Grove Picnic Area Park entrance Fee: $6.00 Carpooling Recommended Directions: From Hwy 280 take the Page Mill Rd Exit 20. Drive 2.5 miles on Page Mill Rd. The Preserve is on your right. After entering and paying, drive past the lake, then turn left at the sign for the picnic area and interpretive center. Turn left at the bottom of the hill into Orchard Glen Picnic area parking.
