This 63 acre park has three kinds of oaks: Blue, Live, and Valley. This is not a hike and sketch, but you are welcome to walk along the trails to pick out your best view. Or you can set up and paint near the parking lot.
The Japanese Tea Garden features a granite pagoda, tea house, koi pond, bamboo grove, and cherry trees.
Paintsites: We are returning to paint this magnificent Mission founded in 1797, and some of the older style shops and houses on the surrounding streets.

Note: Join us Tuesday, April 21st from 1:00 to 3:30 pm for ‘Paintbrush Pals‘. Must be a member to attend the free session. You must register and make sure you receive a confirmation email, as we can only accommodate about 22 people.
Relax and have fun creating a whimsical Floral Doodle. Bring your watercolor supplies, paper and imagination.
Panoramic views or woodland scenes or sunny meadows...and a pond can be found at this appealing site. Optional hike and sketch starts at 10:15.

This is the last farm site in the City of Santa Clara, named for the two families who owned and lived on the property for 125 years. There is the large Italianate-style home, a barn, summer kitchen and a tank house, plus the gardens.?
