For non-hikers there are plenty of spectacular views near Orchard Glen Parking area including a field bordered by woodlands and a stream. For a panoramic view, drive or hike a short distance to a vista point. Hikers can park at an area near the Chamise Trail where we will first meet, then walk down the road a bit, where the entrance to the trail is opposite the lake.   This is tick season, so dress appropriately. Hikers leave at 10:15 AM.

Park entrance Fee: $6.00 

Carpooling Recommended 

From Hwy 280 take the Page Mill Rd Exit 20. Drive 2.5 miles on Page Mill Rd. The Preserve is on your right. After entering and paying, drive past the lake, then turn left at the sign for the picnic area and interpretive center. Turn left at the bottom of the hill into Orchard Glen Picnic area parking.
