ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
During this workshop, we will focus on creating superior paintings! Superb DESIGN is essential in making art that excels! An unremarkable painting can be elevated into one that is powerful and engaging ... with the application of strategic, thoughtful, and dynamic DESIGN. We will learn the all-important concepts of design and how to utilize them in our paintings, for maximum effect ... to take our paintings to that next level.
We’ll explore a variety of subjects together and see how we can turn them into exciting, emotional, fascinating, and unique works of art – with the right combination of creative DESIGN ... solid drawing, effective painting techniques, and imagination. Each day will start with a lesson and demo. After that it will be the students’ time to paint. During that time, I will speak with each student, one at a time, to look at their works in progress and make lots of helpful suggestions.

Workshop is limited to 20 participants. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.
ONLINE Workshop Fees: (Members can reserve their spot for a $75 deposit)

Cancellation Policy:
SCVWS Workshops Cancellation and Refund Policy
Please contact the Workshop Director or the Registrar to cancel your enrollment.
Cancellations made prior to 30 days will receive full refund.
Cancellations between 30 days and the end of the workshop will NOT receive any refund.
Balance payments are due 30 days prior to the start of the workshop. Make payments online.
Failure to pay within 15 days of the beginning of the workshop will result in your enrollment being removed and your spot made available to the membership. Your monies will NOT be refunded.
Workshop participants are NOT authorized to fill their own slot.
SCVWS reserves the right to cancel any workshop that does not meet the minimum of 15 participants requirement. If SCVWS cancels the workshop, all monies paid will be refunded to the participant by check.
