SCVWS Member Exhibits 2008

All SCVWS members are encouraged to participate in our Member Shows. Entry Forms are in your newsletter or online here. The smaller venues make a great opportunity for emerging artists to begin showing your work, and to learn about setting up a show. Our Annual Member Show, held at the Rose Shenson Community Gallery behind the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara, is our largest exhibit of the year, with over 100 paintings on show, and awards for the most outstanding.

SCVWS shows are open to the public, but only members may enter their paintings.

Midsummer's Art Celebration at the Triton Museum of Art

Midsummer Art CelebrationJune 21, 2008, from 10am-6pm
On the grounds of the Triton Museum of Art, Santa Clara

Join us Saturday, June 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for a Midsummer Art Celebration, held in the lush sculpture gardens of the Triton Museum of Art.

A Midsummer Art Celebration is where art collectors discover affordable original artworks for sale. These pieces are created by hundreds of local and regional artists who work in all media, including watercolor, oil, acrylics, pastels, drawing, calligraphy, mixed media, printmaking, photography, fiber arts, silk painting, ceramics, and sculpture.

A variety of art demonstrations, as well as music and food, can be enjoyed in the park setting as you stroll through a creative feast for the eyes. A percentage of all the proceeds from all sales will go to the Triton Museum to support its art and education programs.

Admission and parking are free.
